Basketball's best team of the year will be crowned soon, with either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Golden State Warriors winning the championship. The first game will tip-off Thursday, and to celebrate, NBA 2K15 will start releasing Locker Codes and special bonus items.

Some in-game apparel, which is courtesy of Sprite, was revealed on Twitter.

By typing in PQQUX-KVRRZ-RXRVY-2PD6Y-ARFWH into the Locker Code section, players will be rewarded with some special in-game gear.

NBA 2K15's Ronnie 2K is offering a challenge to get the Pink Diamond Kevin Durant character. He is asking his followers to retweet his tweet. He will then select a lucky player and reward them with a Pink Diamond Durant.

NBA2K 4 Life reported a Locker Code that will give players 1,600 Virtual Currency (VC). By typing in #2K16NEWSon2KTV into the Locker Codes section, players should be rewarded with 1,600 VC.

According to Kpop Starz, NBA 2K15 plans to release more Locker Codes to celebrate the NBA Finals matchup between the Cavaliers and Warriors.

Game Spot reported back in April that NBA 2K15 predicted that the NBA Finals would feature the Cavaliers and Warriors. The game predicted correctly. It also predicted that the Warriors would win the series in six games.

Some exciting news has been released for players looking forward to next year's NBA 2K game, NBA 2K16. If players pre-order the game now, they will be offered access to the game four days earlier than the general public, be awarded with 10,000 VC and be given a MyTEAM VIP package. Players can pre-order the game through the Gamestop website for $59.99.

The latest episode of NBA 2KTV showed off some of the expected features for NBA 2K16. Some retro teams that will be included in the new game. They include the 1999-2000 Toronto Raptors, the 2008 Boston Celtics and the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers. The new game also is trying to make the shoes that the players wear look more realistic.
