A new trailer for "Joe Dirt 2" has been released, and it seems not much has changed for Joe Dirt.

The clip has Dirt, who is played by David Spade, sitting on a bus stop, explaining that his life has not changed much. He adds that this story picks up pretty much where the last one left off.

He ends up being interrupted by a woman sitting next to him. She quickly realizes that he is trying to "Forrest Gump" her by telling him his story while sitting at a bus stop, and she stops it before he can get further. She insults him along the way.

He does find someone to tell his story to, and he ends up explaining that he "must have tumbled through time" after a storm. He does not recognize his surroundings, and he discovers that he is in the '60s.

White trash in American comedy has been a staple for the entertainment industry ever since the Dirt came to the big screen in 2001.

"I just keep on keeping on," said the character in his first film.

According to Cinema Blend, the first film, "Joe Dirt," was about his awe-inspiring journey to find his parents after they left him at the Grand Canyon when he was a young boy. He ventured all across America looking for them, getting into some rather rambunctious situations where he would pass himself off as the tough guy, but in the end, would get hurt physically or emotionally.

But as he said, he just kept on keeping on.

His story started as a joke on a radio program by a shock jock (Dennis Miller) who poked fun at him for being the janitor. He laughed it off and when asked about where he came, the story of "Joe Dirt" began.

People from all over the country listened to him. Sometimes they laughed at his silly antics and precarious situations. Others were moved to tears by his low-brow, meaningless life that would just never end.

But at the end of the movie, the white-trash "little guy" got the girl and that is where we pick up in the sequel (sort of).

The classic rock and cutting edge lifestyle is back in action when he tries to protect his wife and children from a tornado that threatens them. Dirt is somehow transported back in time to 1965 where he is to make a whole new journey over again to find his family. But this time it means finding his way back to the present time.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Christopher Walken returns to reprise his role as the ex-mobster, who in the past is a real mobster before he enters witness protection. Brittany Daniel also reprises her role as Joe's wife and now, mother of his children.

Also starring in the film is Mark McGrath and Patrick Warburton ("Seinfeld").

The film debuts on Crackle on July 16.
