Brittney Griner has filed to have her 28 day marriage to fellow WNBA star Glory Johnson annulled and is strongly hinting that she feels deceived in some way about the baby her wife is rumored to carrying.

TMZ reports in court documents filed on Friday Griner argues she has "no biological connection" to the purported child Johnson revealed she was carrying on Thursday and that "she doesn't know any of the key details about Johnson's pregnancy."

The Phoenix Mercury star center also alleges that her marriage to Johnson is based on "fraud and duress" because she was "pressured into marriage under duress by [Johnson's] threatening statements."

Griner does not specify the nature of the alleged threats, nor does she indicate if she wants to have any type of parenting arrangement with the child in question.

Late Friday, Griner released a statement: "Last Wednesday, Glory and I agreed to either legally separate, get divorced, or annul our marriage. I can confirm that today I filed for an annulment. In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake."

Over the last several weeks, Griner and Johnson's union has only seemed to lead to one controversy after another. Just days before their May 8, nuptials, both were arrested on domestic-abuse related charges after brawling in their home.

Griner later expressed regret about the incident, indicating that it should have never happened and that she would do everything in her power to make certain it didn't again. She also stressed that she took her responsibility as a role model quite seriously.

As for the altercation, the 24-year-old Griner ultimately pled guilty to disorderly conduct charges and was ordered to complete a 26 week domestic violence counseling program. Meanwhile, Johnson's case is still pending, and both have been suspended for seven games by WNBA league officials.

People magazine reports the couple exchanged vows before about 75 people beneath an archway at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resorts in Phoenix and danced their first dance to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud."
