This week may be mostly about what Apple reveals at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference starting Monday, but T-Mobile is rumored to have a week full of promotions rolling out throughout the next few days to steal a little of Apple's buzz.

Starting Monday, June 8, and going until Friday, June 12, rumor has it that T-Mobile will launch several initiatives to lure more customers to the "uncarrier," according to sources at TmoNews, an industry blog that focuses only on T-Mobile. Here's a roundup of what's expected to launch, and when.

Monday June 8

Coming from the "most reliable sources" that TmoNews has, T-Mobile is expected to roll out more invites for its partnered music streaming service, Rhapsody UnRadio.

"Select individuals," meaning lucky customers of T-Mobile, will get a text offering them a free 30-day trial to UnMusic. The music streaming service costs $4 per month after the trial period ends, and customers will have to cancel their free subscription in order not to be charged.

This coincides with the Apple WWDC 2015 keynote speech the same day, in which Apple is expected to launch a competing service to UnRadio and Spotify: Apple Music.

Thursday June 11

T-Mobile is expected to launch a promotional competition based on smartphone photography. According to TmoNews, the company will "be launching a bespoke web page to coincide with texts being sent out to customers" with photography tips and an offer for the unnamed, mostly unknown, competition. Not much else was offered as far as details on this program or promotion.

Friday June 12

This is purportedly the biggest news, and the biggest change coming this week from T-Mobile.

T-Mobile's Unlimited 4G LTE Simple Choice plan customers are reportedly going to have their data allowance for tethering devices (i.e., when you use your phone as a WiFi HotSpot) upped by 2GB.

And instead of a hard cap on data, T-Mobile is expected to announce a soft cap -- meaning that you'll still have tethered connectivity if you go over your newly raised-by-2GB limit, it'll just be slower, and with no overage charges.

This is the way T-Mobile's limits on smartphone mobile data works already, and the change in tethered data is purportedly so that T-Mobile is more in line with the new FCC Open Internet (sometimes called Net Neutrality) paradigm.

Finally, TmoNews heard hints that other plans, like older and grandfathered unlimited data plans, will eventually have changes coming to their HotSpot allowances as well -- but purportedly not yet; not during this week's promotional run.
