Caitlyn Jenner posted a picture via Twitter with a group of ladies celebrating her transition with other transgender friends.

"Learn from those who have walked the path before you. #TransIsBeautiful #LivingOurTruth #JustTheBeginning," she tweeted.

The transgender star also tweeted about her time in San Francisco as she embarks on her new journey, which includes being a big voice in the LGBT community.

"Learned so much this week spending time in SF at the @HRC Human Rights Campaign. Unbelievably moving. Can't wait to share more with you," she tweeted.

Jenner transitioned into a woman this year after publicly revealing her gender identity to Diane Sawyer back in April. Formerly known as Bruce Jenner, the star is following her true path in life and is viewed as a hero to a lot of people.

EPSN announced that she is this year's recipient for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award for coming out as transgender at the age of 65.

"In the past few months, the overwhelming outpouring of support from all over the world for my journey has been incredible," Jenner said. "However, being honored with this award, which is named after one of my heroes, is truly special. For the first time this July, I will be able to stand as my true self in front of my peers."

"Bruce has received many accolades over the years for being one of the greatest Olympians of our time but The ESPYS are honored to celebrate Bruce becoming Caitlyn," said Maura Mandt, EPSN executive producer.

Caitlyn has children from previous marriages and has been married three times. Her children have voiced their support for her transition and have been willing to help her adjust to her new life.

The award will be given to her at the 2015 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. The event will air LIVE on Wednesday July 15, at 8 p.m. on ABC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
