'Bones' Season 10 Finale Spoilers: Booth Says Pelant Case Will Be his Last in 'The Next in the Last' [Watch]
Season 10 of "Bones" will end with a bang this Thursday as the Jeffersonian Team tackles an intense case involving a notable villain from the past and Booth announces that he is going to quit.
In last week's episode, Hodgins and Angela revealed that they are moving on from the Jeffersonian and plan to relocate to Paris. Meanwhile, Brennan and Booth made progress in rebuilding their relationship in wake of Booth's gambling addiction when she let him stay for the night, reports Yibada.
Despite the news about their impending departure, Hodgins and Angela will return to the Jeffersonian in the season finale, which is titled "The Next in the Last," in order to help the team crack a case involving Christopher Pelant's copycat killer.
Screen Fad reports that several squinterns make a guest appearance in the finale for the big case, including Clark, Wendall and Daisy. A preview video reveals that Booth will announce that this will be his last case.
Screen Rad teased that Hodgins and Angela might reconsider leaving the team after Angela realizes just how much Hodgins loves his work.
TVLine also hinted that the season finale will feel more like a series finale.
"You're much more likely to find yourself asking after the finale, 'How can there be any Season 11?'" TVLine's Ausiello said.
According to CarterMatt, the synopsis reads as follows:
"When the Jeffersonian team discovers remains of a victim, and elements of the crime scene point to a possible protégé of serial killer Christopher Pelant, they must revisit their prior work on Pelant while tracing new clues that will hopefully lead them to the copycat killer. Meanwhile, Angela is skeptical about her and Hodgins decision to move to Paris and Brennan and Booth contemplate options outside of the Jeffersonian and FBI."
"Bones" will air Episode 22 of Season 10, "The Next in the Last," on Thursday, June 11 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
