Kim Kardashian rented out the Staples Center arena for her husband Kanye West's 38th birthday on Monday.

The reality TV star posted an Instagram photo of the event. "Thank you Staples Center for the most amazing birthday party for Kanye!" she captioned the post. Kimye posed with a few Lakers girls in the photo.

The rapper wore a jersey with "West 23" on it along with his Yeezus boots while the stylish beauty wore her usual look of a skin-tight dress with heels.


In another post, the Kardashian sister revealed that she surprised her husband with his birthday gift by blindfolding him.

Kardashian spent $110,000 to rent out the entire space in Los Angeles, according to E! News.

"Kim rented out the Staples Center so Kanye and his boys could play an NBA-style game with real refs and Laker girls!" a source tells E! "John Salley was the announcer. Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz were the coaches. John Legend sang the national anthem."

Kanye's friends joined the game along with NBA stars Russell Westbrook and John Wall. Justin Bieber, Tyga and Pusha T were among the friends who played in the game.

The source says the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also surprised her husband with another gift; she built a basketball court in their backyard since he loves the game so much.

She also wished him a Happy Birthday via Instagram with a throwback photo of the couple when they were newlyweds.

"Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world! You are the most amazing husband & dad! You inspire me every single day! You make all of your dreams reality & it's fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH," she captioned the post.
