A new celebrity is gracing the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" video game from Treyarch.

NFL star Marshawn Lynch will be included in the new title that will arrive to the current and last generation consoles in November.

The announcement of Lynch's inclusion in the video game was revealed in the June issue of ESPN magazine. The 28-year-old running back for the Seattle Seahawks is the latest big name to join the world of cyber soldiers in the popular video game.

Lynch, also known by his moniker "Beast Mode," has been a fan of the video game ever since his college years. He used to play with friends as a way to connect with them and to let off steam from a hectic and tiring day.

When the people at Treyarch learned that the Seattle Seahawks player is a huge supporter of the video game, they did not think twice about putting him inside the game.

"For Marshawn's role, we needed and imposing figure," Treyarch studio chief Mark Lamia told ESPN. "When we learned he's a huge fan, we thought it'd be awesome to have him inside our game."

Not too many details are known about the upcoming video game yet, however, it has been confirmed that he will be a villain in the next iteration of Black Ops.

The towering figure of Lynch visited Activision studio to finish the process of including him in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," which involved an image scan of his face as well as a motion capture suit for the developers to have an idea on how he moves and translate it into the video game.

"He better have dreads, gold teeth and my distinctive walk," said the NFL player to the people at Activision. "Then people will be like, 'Oh, that's really Beast Mode right there!'"

Meanwhile, the developers of the highly anticipated video game have recently announced on its blog that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will also be made available to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Previous promotional materials for the title only mentioned PS4 and Xbox One, much to the chagrin of players still using last generation consoles. But Activision realized that not everyone has made the transition yet and it has decided to bring the game to older hardware.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be available to PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 6.
