WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for June 11, 2015: Dean Ambrose Opens Final Show Before 'Money in the Bank'
The final "SmackDown" before "WWE Money in the Bank" will open with Dean Ambrose, who has held onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship since "Elimination Chamber" nearly two weeks ago. Ambrose is not the champion, but he will have another official shot at the title this Sunday against Seth Rollins, the actual WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Ambrose kicked-off "SmackDown" with a promo, but he was interrupted by Rollins, who wants his championship back. Ambrose decides to drop the championship on the ring for Rollins to retrieve it. Rollins, however, discovered it is a replica. Ambrose revealed he "lost" the title, but he will have it for their "Money in the Bank" match. Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler was announced for later in the show.
Tag-team competition will also occur in the main event with Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Neville vs. Kofi Kingston, Sheamus and Kane; all six are participants in the Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match.
Intercontinental Champion Ryback defeated The Miz in a non-title match. Big Show appeared and threatened to win the title at "Money in the Bank."
Backstage, Neville, Orton and Reigns spoke about their Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match.
King Bad News Barrett defeated Jack Swagger. R-Truth was on commentary. Truth and Barrett will fight each other during the "Money in the Bank Kickoff" show.
A pre-taped interview featuring Michael Cole and Lana aired. Lana said she has been having a good time with Ziggler. Rusev interrupted and says he wants her back. She continued to shun him, which made him angrier.
Rollins defeated Ziggler via a roll-up in with a grab of the tights.
Divas competition was next as Paige, the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship, defeated Alicia Fox.
The main event was the six-man tag-team match. Neville, Orton and Reigns defeated Kingston, Sheamus and Kane by disqualification.
"WWE SmackDown" airs at 8 p.m. EST on SyFy.
