A former cast member of Black Ink Crew is suing VH1 & the producers of the show because, allegedly, they "roofied" her and "made her look like a slut."

According to Hip-Hop Wired, Alexandra Estevez -- aka "Alex" -- is suing the producers of the show because, specifically, of an episode where she was portrayed as a loose woman, one who tries to sleep with everyone else's boyfriends. The end result of this episode was Alex getting physically assaulted by other cast members on-screen.

Further, according to TMZ, it wasn't just Alex who was getting "roofied" and made to look like a slut -- other people, who were not on the show, were also claiming to be "roofied" in order to behave in a certain way. "Before the encounter, Alex claims someone connected with production handed her a drink that contained a 'date rape drug' and it completely messed her up. She claims she barely remembers a thing, including hitting on the owner. To add insult to injury, Alex insists producers subsequently edited show footage to make her look as slutty as possible. She says she quit the show last June because she felt so violated. Alex's friend Ericka -- not a cast member -- claims she was also roofied. Together, they're suing for battery and more ... demanding at least $1,000,000. Calls to the producers weren't returned," reports TMZ.

Hopefully, Alex has some sort of proof that she was, indeed, drugged in order to behave a certain way... because this will be very difficult to prove in court. However, if she does succeed in proving that she was drugged in order to behave a certain way, it wouldn't be the first time cast members of reality shows were put in compromising positions -- cast members of such shows as For The Love of Ray J, The Bad Girls Club and The Bachelor have all accused the producers of keeping them drunk & hungry in order to behave in a more aggressive manner in the name of ratings.

What are your thoughts on all of this? Should there be regulations in place for reality show producers?
