‘Heroes Reborn’ News: Angela Petrelli Will Return; Find Out Who Else Is Confirmed [Watch]
The plot of the "Heroes Reborn" reboot has just thickened with news of Cristine Rose returning to the series as Angela Petrelli.
Fans will likely remember her as the villainous mother of Peter and Nathan Petrelli, who will stop at nothing to see her son Peter become a political juggernaut, according to E! News.
Angela's ominous pursuit of her son's political ambitions did not even stop when he died at the hands of Sylar (Zachary Quinto). She instructed Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg, also returning) to get inside Sylar's head once he had assumed Nathan's physical appearance and make him believe he really was Nathan, so that their political power may continue.

But in regards to her sons returning to the show, Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) has other things on his plate, which includes a new sci-fi thriller on ABC. And even if he weren't a part of a new show, it does seem Ventimiglia likes to look to the past.
"I got a new show on Monday nights called 'The Whispers' and I'm focused on that," Ventimiglia told E! News at the "Gilmore Girls" reunion panel, where he also commented on a return to that show as well. "I think it's kind of in the zeitgeist to revive everything and I don't know how good that is because it takes away from that lightning in the bottle moment where you're in that period of life where you're watching something for the first time and you're experiencing it all that. So to revisit things, it's like revisiting past relationships or something. It's like, no, you are who you are nowadays."
But viewers will see several other stars returning, which includes Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Greg Grunberg, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Noah Gray-Cabey.
Also, according to Entertainment Weekly, there are a few confirmations of who is definitely not coming back. Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar and Quinto will not return.
The good news is there will be all-new members of the secret powers groups, which will be headlined by Zachary Levi.
