Former world champion Adrien Broner is eyeing a knockout victory against Shawn Porter in their upcoming fight on June 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Broner, who holds a 25-1-1 record with 16 knockout victories, said he is familiar with Porter, and they had sparring sessions before, which is the reason why he thinks he could stop his fellow Ohio native.

"This is the first time I might do a lot of things. This might be the first time I stop Shawn Porter," Broner said via BoxingScene. "I'm looking good and I'm feeling good. You know, one mistake with Adrien Broner and that can end a fight."

Broner has racked up three consecutive victories since taking a unanimous decision loss to Marcos Maidana in December 2013. He scored convincing decision wins against Carlos Molina, Emmanuel Taylor and John Molina Jr.

The fight against Porter is considered by boxing analysts as the biggest test for Broner before he plunges into another title fight, but the 27-year-old boxer is confident that he will emerge victorious against Porter.

"Even if it's a hard fight, I'm going to win this fight," Broner said via Fightnews. "They say he's strong, they say he comes like a bulldozer, it don't matter. Whatever they bring to the table on June 20, I'm ready."

Porter, who has racked up 25 victories with 16 knockouts on top of one defeat and one draw, fired back and warned Broner that he will be the strongest opponent of "The Problem" to date. The former International Boxing Federation welterweight champion also played down reports suggesting that Broner's experience will be a factor.

"I'm the strongest fighter that Adrien Broner will ever get into the ring with," Porter said. "I know he's got more fights as a professional than me but that doesn't mean he's got more experience than me. We do all our fighting in the gym, prior to the fight."

Porter is coming off a fifth-round knockout win against Erick Bone in March, which came after taking a majority decision loss to Kell Brook in their IBF welterweight title fight in August last year.
