"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will take over Comic Con on Friday, July 10.

There will be a different panel all day celebrating the release of "Star Wars." The day will begin with a Star Wars Publishing 2015 panel that will showcase authors that will discuss their efforts to retell classic "Star Wars" stories for a younger generation of fans. The panel will include authors Alexandra Bracken ("The Darkest Minds" series), Adam Gidwitz ("A Tale Dark and Grimm" series) and Tom Angleberger (The "Star Wars Origami" books).

After that there will be another Star Wars Publishing panel that will include discussions about Star Wars books that expand the universe.

Following that panel, Hasbro will present a panel on the "Star Wars" toys. The panel will discuss the latest action figures and there will be some new products revealed. There is a chance that these products could reveal some spoilers for the upcoming films.

Midday will see the Star Wars Collectibles panel in which collectible manufacturers eFX, Gentle Giant Studios, Kotobukiya and Sideshow Collectibles preview the latest "Star Wars" toys for fans who prefer their toys in the "look, but don't touch" category. Among the speakers will be Anita Castellar, who is a big fan of the franchise.

The conference will conclude with an ILM 40th anniversary panel. The panel will hold a tribute to the visual effects house Industrial Light & Magic, which was born in 1975 from the production of the original "Star Wars." The presentation will span its earliest days of miniature model work to today's high-tech frontier.

It has not been announced whether or not any actor from the upcoming "Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will be present but this event is sure to be one of the highlights of the conference.

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" stars Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac, and hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
