The Academy Awards nominees have been announced, and there are very few surprises! 

According to Deadline.com, the nominees for Best Picture include American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave, and Gravity. Of course, The Wolf of Wall Street was also nominated for Best Picture, and the picture also got nods for Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actor (Jonah Hill), Best Director (Martin Scorcese), and Best Adapted Screenplay (Terence Winter).

Other Best Actor nominees include Christian Bale for American Hustle, Bruce Dern in Nebraska, Chiwetel Ejiofor in 12 Years a Slave, and Mattthew McConaghey in Dallas Buyers Club.

Best Actresses have an impressive list of nominees, as well: Amy Adams in American Hustle, Cate Blanchette in Blue Jasmine, Dame Judi Dench in Philomena, Sandra Bullock in Gravity, and Academy favorite Meryl Streep in August: Osage County.

For his part, Hill will be up against some stiff competition in the Best Supporting Actor category. Amongst his competition: Barkhad Abdi in Captain Philipps, Bradley Cooper in American Hustle, Michael Fassbender in 12 Years a Slave, and Jared Leto in Dallas Buyers Club.
