After recovering from a shell-shocked shattering box-office run from both "Guardians of the Galaxy" and the record-breaking "Jurassic World," the former "Parks and Recreation" actor Chris Pratt now puts himself in demand for another franchise sequel, "Indiana Jones."

According to Entertainment Weekly, Pratt is now Hollywood's golden boy and has attracted the attention of legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

A similar scenario has played out before, with "Transformers" Shia LaBeouf, who recently helmed the role of Jones' son in the franchise's return in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

But this time, Spielberg has plans to replace Indy, not give him a successor. His plans for Pratt worked out marvelously when he cast him in the latest movie in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, which has shattered global and domestic box-office records, proving that Pratt has all the necessary power to lead a movie to major box office success.

There was even rumors that fellow A-Lister Channing Tatum was trying to get the emerging actor to play a role in the gender swapping "Ghostbusters" sequel, but that news was only rumored following the Sony hack.

As a matter of fact, Pratt dispelled those rumors during a recent interview with GQ.

"No one has ever even spoken to me about that," Pratt said. "Never. I've even seen Channing a couple times. As far as I know, that's complete bulls**t."

But when asked about the "Indiana Jones" rumors, Pratt was a little more aware of the rumors.

"And so I came home, and then there was paparazzi asking me about it and people asking me to sign 'Indiana Jones' pictures and 'Indiana Jones' hats," Pratt said.

He also added his action-adventure plate is really full at the moment, and he is signed on for more "Jurassic Park" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequels.
