CBS ‘Hawaii Five-O’ Season 6 News & Rumors: Chris Pratt Offered Role in Upcoming Season
Executive producer for "Hawaii Five-O" Pete Lenkov recently read an article on Entertainment Weekly that got him to thinking about next season of the CBS hit show. The article particularly concerns "Jurassic World" actor Chris Pratt and his experience filming the hit movie in Hawaii.
"For me, my favorite part of the [filming] process [for 'Jurassic World'] was being in Hawaii with my family," Pratt Told EW. "Swimming, surfing and fishing, and doing runs and hikes all around there and then going to work in Hawaii. I want see if I can get a role on 'Hawaii Five-0' or something. If I could live there and work, I would."
That of course gave Lenkov a new idea, which he disclosed to Entertainment Weekly in another article.
"After reading his interview in EW this weekend, I'd like to officially offer Chris Pratt an open invitation to appear on 'Hawaii Five-O'," Lenkov told EW.
"We have a number of roles in mind such as a former SEAL buddy of McGarrett's recruited to be the newest member of 'Five-0,' a multitasking surf instructor turned drug lord or even a former dino whisperer looking for a safer work environment. Really, the possibilities are endless. We'd love to have Chris become a part of our Ohana."
All jokes aside, this could be a real possibility for Pratt but not likely as a recurring role. The actor has recently signed on for sequels to his epic box-office hits for "Jurassic World" and "Guardians of the Galaxy."
In a more comically explained manner, Pratt told EW that he has signed on for "I think 38" sequels to the movie. But all joking aside, Pratt has turned into Hollywood's new golden boy with a multitude of box-office success in the bank already.
As for Season 6 of "Hawaii Five-O," we can still rest assured that the series will go on without him. It is set to debut this fall with Adam and Kono's reception following their nuptials.
