'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' Trailer & Release Date: Multiplayer, Gun Editor, Co-Op Mode & More Revealed [Videos]
Fans of the Treyarch-developed first person shooting game, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," were treated to more exciting news at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
A multi-player reveal trailer debuted for the upcoming game at the event, which showcased impressive details and modes for the latest iteration of the popular franchise.
The more than 2-minute clip was full of gameplay action, moves and weapons that players could get their hands on once the game gets released later this year.
Forbes noted that while the movement in the upcoming game is quite similar to "Advanced Warfare," it remains to have a distinct trait that makes it different while keeping some similarities so that players, who are used to the gameplay in "Advanced Warfare," could use their techniques in "Black Ops 3."
Players can now choose their own abilities before entering missions as the developers have made nine new specialists looks and strengths available with the new game.
The new title, while allowing gamers to play it on a solo flight, was designed for the enjoyment of four players in mind running the co-operative campaign using the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, noted Call of Duty Community. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 console gamers, on the other hand, can still enjoy the game, though, but the campaign mode will only enable two-player cooperative play.
While all these are very exciting upgrades to the popular game, the newest feature to be added in "Black Ops 3" is perhaps, what many players will look forward to. Gunsmith has been included to the multiplayer campaign that will take customization to a whole new level with "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
According to another Call of Duty Community post, players can now customize their guns with new ammunition, added attachments for more power and different models to choose from. Aside from that, those who are interested to take it up a notch, the Weapon Paint Shop will give the option to players to customize its weapon with a new color.
Gamers can also play with their weapons' skin and opt to change it with graphics of for a more personalized look.
Meanwhile, zombie fans of the game can now rest knowing that the developers have once again introduced the undead into the fray with a separate story arc in the game.
However, Microsoft users are in for disappointing news after it was announced that the new "Black Ops 3" maps DLC will be accessible to PlayStation 4 users first in August.
"The beta will also be available on Xbox One and PC at a later date. Actual beta launch dates and details have not been released yet," Call of Duty Community wrote.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will hit shelves on November 6, 2015.
