“Once Upon a Time,” ABC’s revamping of classic Disney characters for a world of prime time drama, is casting a new character for its upcoming Season 5.

According to SpoilerTV, the fantasy series is currently looking for someone to fill the role of Rumplestiltskin’s mother, Evanna, who will appear in flashback scenes.

Not much is known about this mysterious figure, but the show is on the hunt for an actress in her mid-20s to early 30s, who can play a character described as “stunningly beautiful” as well as “strong and imbued with an unshakeable sense of self-confidence.” Candidates will also have to be able to convincingly demonstrate a Scottish accent.

In other “Once Upon a Time” news, Jennifer Morrison, whose character Emma Swan turned to the dark side at the end of Season 4, has been hitting the books in preparation for her coming bad girl persona.

People reports 36-year-old Morrison, said: "In order to build Dark Emma, I've been doing a bunch of research there with some of their mythology books and old fairy tale books and just looking back through the history of swans and the etymology of 'Swan.' "

"Villains are fun to play as an actor, but no matter what, it's also just fun to have something new," explained the “How I Met Your Mother” alum. "It's so rare to go into season 5 of a show and feel like a character is evolving and changing at such a drastic pace that I really get stretched and challenged on a daily basis."

Speaking of Morrison’s new dark persona, show creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have said that they are "creating a villain that has never existed."

Season 5 of “Once Upon a Time” will air on ABC on Sept. 27.
