Actor Mané de la Parra was attacked by a stranger while filming scenes for his latest telenovela, "Amor de Barrio," and it was caught on video.

The event occurred in La Flaza de Santo Domingo in the historic center of Mexico City.

The Mexican star was in the middle of rehearsing scenes with co-star Renata Nodni when he was attacked.

Between scenes fans were able to come up to the actors and ask for photographs and autographs. Most fans were excited for the opportunity and stayed around to watch the actors rehearse. However, one woman took things too far when she attacked the 32-year-old actor.

The unidentified woman, who didn't seem to care that the interaction was being filmed, can be seen coming up to Parra and asking him questions.

"Where are the people? They here. Look at me with your eyes. Take off your sunglasses," she said.

She then proceeded to abruptly grab the sunglasses off his face before dashing away. The woman is believed to have been an activist upset about the death of Juárez and the disappearance of 43 Mexican students from Ayotzinapa College.

The actor and witnesses were stunned after she proceeded to walk away. Parra, who is currently also working on his music career and solo album, can be seen simply putting his sunglasses back on his face.

After the incident, the actor was interviewed by the Spanish-language program, "Suelta la Sopa," reports La Opinión. The actor revealed that he is not letting the incident bother him at all. He stated that although it was handled wrongly, he understands that people are sensitive to the world's current issues.
