Rob Zombie has created some of cinema's most gruesome features in the horror entertainment industry, which includes his debut film "House of 1000 Corpses" and runs the gauntlet, including a remake of the classic "Halloween" franchise, which he followed up with a sequel on both films.

But his latest film, "31," is slated to potentially be one of his most horrifying and disturbing yet, according an article on Rue Morgue.

In this upcoming terror original from the shock-rock horror aficionado, Zombie has penned a script about five people who are kidnapped in the days leading up to Halloween. They have been taken to a place called Murder World and the victims have a harrowing task in front of them as they are forced to survive 12 hours in the location pitted against a gang of evil clowns in a game called 31.

Zombie's films have long featured seasoned horror actors that have been inherent to his troupe of films. Malcolm McDowell, who also portrayed Dr. Samuel Loomis in the "Halloween" remakes by Zombie, will play the role of Father Napoleon-Horatio-Silas Murder. Although this name is weird and long, it pales in comparison to his on-screen persona, with characters who have zero respect for human life. That is a common theme that has long been present in Zombie's films.

McDowell is no stranger to playing characters of this sort either. In 1971, he portrayed Alex DeLarge in the disturbing Stanley Kubrick feature "A Clockwork Orange."

Rue Morgue also says that Zombie's wife, Sherri Moon-Zombie, who plays in all of his films, will be playing a role in this film as well. She recently starred in his 2012 film "Lords of Salem," which had a limited release.
