Batman: Arkham Knight will finally be released Tuesday. After much delay, the game is headed to retailers as early as midnight Tuesday. Game critics have already been offered the opportunity to play the game early, and most reviews are very positive, according to Gamespot.

Gamespot gives Batman: Arkham Knight a 7 out of 10 rating and blames the lengthy and boring Batmobile battles for this rating.

"The Batmobile is also the centerpiece of a number of mediocre boss encounters, all manner of puzzles, boring cat-and-mouse games with superpowered tanks, and even some of the Riddler's many optional challenges scattered across the city. Don't be surprised should you end up muttering to yourself, 'Too. Much. Batmobile,'" the review says.

IGN gave the game a 9.2 out of 10 rating and does not like the tank combat added to the game but says it is nice to have access to the Batmobile for the first time. The website says the game is "outstanding on almost every level."

Polygon said the game was a perfect 10 out of 10. In the review  it said, "After Arkham Knight, Batman has been perfected - and the end result is the best game of this console generation."

USGamer gave Batman: Arkham Knight a 4 out of 5 rating and praised the game for being "amazing."

"Rocksteady absolutely nailed the feeling of being Batman and Arkham Knight only increases the scope of the original games. Yes, I got annoyed, but the moment-to-moment play of Batman: Arkham Knight is still amazing. If you've saved the Asylum and cleaned up the City, it's worth finishing the Knight off," the review said.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be available at Best Buy starting at midnight Tuesday morning. Game Stop will offer the game at midnight EST and 11 p.m. CST Monday. Those on the west coast will be able to pick up the game at Game Stop at 9 p.m.

The 24-hour Wal-Mart locations will start selling the game at midnight local time.
