"The Flash" Season 2 may be a few months away but new rumors are surfacing, revealing that the character of Cisco Ramon will have new superhero powers.

When Dr. Wells mentioned that Cisco was affected by particle accelerator radiation in "The Flash" season finale, he was referring to what will inevitably evolve in future episodes. Cisco was able to access visions of what had happened in an alternate reality, knowing that Reverse-Flash had killed him. But that isn't the extent of his power -- it's just the beginning.

In a recent interview, Carlos Valdes, who stars as Cisco, said, "Even though we know that Caitlin Snow becomes Killer Frost and Cisco Ramon will potentially become Vibe, that's not really our concern right now. Our concern is giving life to these characters and giving them an independent storyline before these super powers, so that if and when these personalities are imbued with these powers, it means that much more. It carries a completely different significance because of that back story."

While his statements are vague, Valdes may be referring to how his character will develop in the second season and how that will create the eventual superhero from the comics. After all, in the comics, Cisco Ramon is known as Vibe. He presents one of the few capable enough to hold his own against the Flash, possessing the power to create shock waves, harness inter-dimensional travel abilities, and disrupt the Speed Force.

Vibe is also part of the super group Justice League of America and the team utilized him in case they ever need to stop the Flash. It will be interesting to see if the Flash has outbursts or if these two characters will face off in the series. However, at this point it is not confirmed.

"The Flash" Season 2 makes its premiere on Oct. 6 and will star Grant Gustin as Barry Allen.
