Chinx Drugz Death: Wife Janelli Caceres Gets Tattoo in Honor of Late Rapper [Pics]
Janelli Caceres wanted to express her undying love for her husband and late rapper, Chinx Drugz. The mother of three had a portrait of the rapper tattooed on her upper back over the weekend to honor him on Father's Day.
In the photo Caceres shared on Instagram, her new ink shows a perfect rendering of the "What They Talkin Bout" rapper with "Mrs. Pickens" written underneath.
Caceres endured some pain during the tattoo process.
"I'm swollen and whelped up but u get the picture!! Finished product coming soon... Happy Father's Day my angel! He will forever be apart me no matter what my future holds," she wrote.
In another snapshot, Caceres revealed that the tattoo was not finished. She told her Instagram followers that Chinx's portrait was part one of two phases.
" therealnelli_Part 1 of a masterpiece .....5 hours later!!! S/O my new artist @davidpracise! I've seen many artist work, I've worked with many different ones but David is a pure perfectionist!!!!! He took his time making sure the position n every detail was perfect... We're not finished..more to come! Can't wait till next week to finish part 2!! David you a beast!!" she wrote.
The tattoo was done by David Pracise, a tattoo artist in Saddlebrook, New Jersey.
Caceres has not allowed grief to stop her from celebrating her husband's memory. She surprised everyone by attending the June 14 baby shower of Patricija Muratovic, a 21-year-old woman who is pregnant with the late rapper's son, Liam.
Chinx's wife wrote on Instagram that at the end of the day, her children and Muratovic's child all had one thing in common: They all lost their father. So she did not want to spend time worrying about that and instead wants to remember him.
"In the end these kids share the same story -their father was murdered n their memories stop here!! So please believe I install unity in my kids ..daddy made a mistake but we will get thru it n yah will remember him for the loving man yah knew. Period!" she said.
Chinx and Caceres share three children: a 4-year-old son, and two daughters, 11 and 14.
The New York MC was murdered on May 18 in a drive-by shooting in Queens, New York. The 31-year-old rapper was a member of French Montana's Coke Boys and best known for his hit track "I'm a Coke Boy."
