Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi Relationship Rumors: Couple Walks Hand-in-Hand, Goes Antiquing
Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi recently walked hand-in-hand while shopping in Los Angeles. And with this gesture, the couple may have just put to rest the rumors about trouble in their marriage.
It's been previously speculated that divorce could be on the horizon for the couple.
Movie News Guide reports the two spent much of the day last Saturday antique shopping in nearby Monticello and seemingly enjoying one another's company.
According to the Daily Mail, the 57-year-old talk show host was dressed in her usual ensemble of a blue collared shirt, sneakers and aviators sunglasses. Meanwhile, the 43-year-old de Rossi wore a jean jacket, pink top and harem pants.
For months now, rumors of a split have dogged the couple, and Celebrity Dirty Laundry recently alleged that de Rossi accused her wife of cheating with actress Tatum O'Neal. The website adds O'Neal, the mother of three, recently revealed that she is now dating females.
"Portia had always assumed Tatum was straight," said a source. "Now, alarm bells are going off in her head and she has had to ask Ellen if there is anything going on between them."
The source later added DeGeneres has denied all the rumors, "but the seed has already been planted in Portia's mind."
According to Radar, de Rossi is now also pressuring DeGeneres to walk away from her long running talk show when her contract expires in 2017 so she will be spend more time with their family and work to strengthen their marriage.
"Ellen's contract is up in 2017 and she has told her staff that she does not know if she is going to renew it," a source told Radar. "Everyone on the staff is just freaking out over this."
Sources also indicate that when de Rossi comes to the studio now she's not nearly as "nice to everyone as she use to be."
To date, DeGeneres has reportedly made upwards of $200 million doing the show, but her wife is now telling her "she has already interviewed everyone there is to interview and the act just seems to be getting old."
