Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart went after Fox News for their claim that liberals and Democrats are racing to "politicize" the tragedy in Charleston, South Carolina.

He commented on several videos that had emerged from Fox News, which included Sean Hannity and others calling out liberal-leaning people and politicians for using the tragedy to advance "their narrative" in regards to gun laws.

But Stewart was quick to comically abhor the network for using the term "politicizing" their narrative in order to advance an agenda, given that the network has so famously in the past used the same actions to expound on other tragedies.

Stewart played a series of videos from back in December when two police officers were shot in New York and Fox News were quick to blame Democratic leaders for their deaths. Fox anchors and guests were saying, for example, "They now have blood on their hands," following liberals' media narrative against cops using deadly force in uncalled for situations on African-Americans.

The Washington Post reported that Stewart comically turned the tide of "politicizing" back onto Fox News and he even suggested they use the propaganda technique quite frequently on their own network.

The scenario played out like a "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" situation where Stewart insinuated that their hypocrisy was hidden within their own techniques on the right-leaning network.

Fox News famously unhinged the narrative back in December from the shooting of the two police officers. They reported around the clock with guest stars coming on their various shows blaming New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and other Democrats for creating an "anti-cop environment."

According to The Huffington Post, Hannity claimed that the politicizing of the Charleston tragedy that left nine people dead as the result of gun violence was "almost like a sickness."

Stewart aired the video of Hannity then comically retorted, "Yes, it's a sickness. This rush to use tragedy to advance your narrative."
