Kate del Castillo Criticizes Donald Trump's Son's Obsession With Hunting
Telenovela actress Kate del Castillo has made her distaste for the Trump family clear with her recent public comments about Donald Trump's son and his indulgence in hunting.
The 42-year-old Mexican actress addressed the issue on Twitter.
"The human race. Nothing more sad and hopeless," she said.
Castillo made the comments with a retweet of a photo and link to story, about Donald Trump Jr. hunting, posted by Spanish news website Sin Embargo.
Trump Jr. defended his hunting trips on Twitter, back in 2013 when photos and a video of a Safari hunting trip they had emerged, reported The Huffington Post.
"I'm a hunter, for that I make no apologies," he said. "I can assure you it was not wasteful the villagers were so happy for the meat which they don't often get to eat."
He defended his trips by explaining that the elephants he and his hunting party killed were those that are overpopulated and not of shrinking populations like a variety of complaints said. He went on to argue that eco-friendly ideas are great but supply no money and that hunters help Africa.
The Trump family has been under attack by many members of the media and the Latino community for Donald Trump's comments about Mexican immigrants.
Most recently upsetting pageant director and ex-Miss Universe Lupita Jones and causing her to question Mexico's participation in the Miss Universe competition, which is ran by Trump.
However, not everyone has been too critical of Trump. Ximena Navarrete, Miss Universe 2010, recently defended Trump on her Instagram, stating that her "working relationship with him has always been great" and that she did not take the comments made by Trump "personally."
