Lifetime canceled "Witches of East End" last November, disheartening many fans.

It aired its final episode last October and fans have not seen anything new from it since, according to International Business Times.

But the show will be getting a breath of new life on July 7, when it comes to Netflix for a two-season binger that could possibly lead to a resurgence for the show.

"Witches" was about a coven of the title characters who were set in a small fictional seaside town called East End. The series was based on the novel of the same name by Melissa Cruz. It premiered in October of 2013.

The problem is, the Season 2 finale left viewers with a strong cliffhanger that all but demands a season 3. It left off with Killian (Daniel Di Tomasso) drinking a bottle of poison elixir so that he may die alongside Freya. But before he died, he saw that she was alive. That lead to a frantic race for the cure and although he found it, things got a little messier.

That is where Killian's evil brother did a body swap with him after he got locked up in jail. This left Killian's soul trapped in a prison.

Netflix is not one to shy away from "uncanceling" some of America's very best series that have been cut short on the networks. It famously revived the cult-hit show "Arrested Development" which originally aired on Fox for three seasons then got canceled due to failing numbers in the ratings. It has also revived the ABC comedy "Full House," now titled "Fuller House."

Ad-supported broadcast networks have a certain number they have to adhere to in order for them to maintain certain shows. But Netflix is different because their subscribers have a different attitude toward their content. Binge-viewing non-linear movies and TV shows is the trend these days.

So now that the streaming giant has picked the series up for repeats, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, could they breathe new life into it?
