Xbox Live Gold members are in for amazing news. Beginning July, users subscribed to the membership will be able to access four free Games With Gold titles every month. Two games each will be available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The announcement was made on Xbox Wire. The additional free games are given as a way for Xbox to show its appreciation to those who have subscribed to the gold membership service. It also marks the two years since Xbox began giving away free games in 2013 for their members to enjoy.

The change will allow users of both consoles to enjoy the same perks and number of titles.

Although two games will be given free each month for Xbox One users, gamers are reminded that the first title will be made available every 1st of the month while the second comes every 16th, and both are downloadable for a month.

Meanwhile, there's no change in the schedule of Xbox 360 game releases as members can still access the first game for the first fifteen days of the month and the second game will be available from the 16th until the month ends.

For Xbox One users, enjoying the game after its download window has ended will pose no problem, as the game will remain playable as long as the Gold membership is maintained, noted Ars Technica.

Xbox 360 users have an added advantage on this part as players get to keep the game in the future even if they change the status of their membership on Xbox Live.

For the month of July, the first title to come to Xbox One is the action-adventure title from Ubisoft, "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag." This popular video game combines Templars, pirates, missions and ancient civilizations to provide an exciting gameplay experience for the thrill-seeking gamer.

Puzzle-game "So Many Me" will be available to Xbox One beginning July 16 and is available for download until August 15.

"Plants vs. Zombies" will come to Xbox 360 users first and will be available from July 1-15, while "Gears of War 3" will be downloadable beginning July 16-31.

"Gears of War 3" will also be playable on Xbox One with the new backwards compatibility feature, reported Gaming Bolt.
