MTV is getting their 2013 Artist of the Year unplugged and "stripped down," a report says on their website.

"Come January 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Miley and MTV will get intimate," teased the network's report tagline.

According to the network, viewers will be able to witness acoustic versions and "more intimate reinventions" of the buzzed-up singer's 'Bangerz' tracks including 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball.'

And although Smilers are more than excited to hear that Miley will be showing off her vocal powers in the rawest form possible, what really had everyone intrigued was the singer's offbeat photo op for her 'MTV Unplugged' special.

The photo, courtesy of Olivia Malone, features the 'Adore You' singer topless with black and silver stars covering the sensitive parts of her breasts. She also wore a blonde wig, fake teeth, yellow scarf and an oversized black hat with black gloves to match.

It has not been confirmed if it was Miley herself or her stylist who planned out her rather peculiar look but Us Weekly could not help but compare the offbeat look to Lady Gaga's 'Dope' cover. It might just be the black hat and the fake teeth or the bizarreness of it all.

Nevertheless, the network also reached out to Smilers on Instagram to promote the singer's upcoming MTV 'Unplugged' special, posting the 30-second ad for the guesting. The Miley special will also feature surprise guests, which means that viewers might be once again blown away by the singer's antics which have been known to involve mascots and foam fingers.

Miley is off to jumpstart her 'Bangerz' tour on February 14 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, according to the singer's website. But before that, the 'Adore You' singer is grazing everyone's ears minus the amps and beats machine.
