Fans of the science fiction role playing game Mass Effect are eager to get their hands on the latest title from the franchise ever since it was confirmed to be in development. Now, the game's senior development director has recently offered details about the game on Twitter, which hinted that weather effects will be included in the upcoming title.

Electronic Arts offered a glimpse of the upcoming video game with a trailer on its E3 event, but not too many details have been revealed.

Even game developer BioWare admitted that they could not yet release additional information except with what was shown in the trailer.

"While we aren't ready to go into too many details just yet, as you saw in the trailer and can tell by the name, this game is very much a new adventure, taking place far away from and long after the events of the original trilogy," wrote the developer on its official website.

Based from the title, the upcoming game will be set in the Andromeda galaxy, which is very far from Milky Way where "Mass Effect 3" was set.

Although the gameplay details of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is limited, the game's development director Chris Wynn posted an update on his Twitter page to reveal new information about the title. He hinted of the possible inclusion of environment elements to the game to make it more exciting.

"Tech art team just blew me away with a demo of weather effects on objects and characters in game. Was ridiculously cool. #MEAndromeda," tweeted Wynn.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, it seems that the developers are looking to feature a new planetary setting that shows different weather types and various kinds of atmosphere.

Should this be the case, then the upcoming "Mass Effect" title will be a very different title that the previous three.

Other than this revelation, BioWare also noted that players can come into the game as either a female or male character as shown on the trailer. But the developers made it clear that changes will come into the characters.

The game will be available only in current generation consoles PS4 and Xbox One as well as the PC. BioWare announced during E3 that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be out in the last quarter of 2016.
