ABC's most popular show returns in the fall.

"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premieres in the fall and apparently last season has ended with an obvious cliffhanger. Rebecca Sutter's (Katie Findlay) death could be the main plotline of the next season. The question is: Who killed Rebecca?

There are a number of suspects, but one in particular stands out: Wes. He could be a main suspect in this case. It's hard to imagine Wes killing Rebecca, but he did spend the most time with her in the basement. If Rebecca gave some kind of confession to Wes, perhaps he took it on himself to protect his peers since he got them involved in the first place.

The Hollywood Reporter reports creator Peter Nowalk said the show will have the same structure as Season 1.

"There's no rules to our show, which is great," Nowalk said. "We can flash back, we can flash forward, we can just tell a story linearly. I want to keep it fresh."

He also hinted a new character will be appearing in Season 2. Without getting into much detail, he said, "We'll meet a new character that figures prominently into Annalise's life."

"How To Get Away With Murder" has been one of ABC's most popular shows and is getting great ratings. The show went well in the previous season, setting a record on its premiere with 6 million viewers nationwide. According to Rotten Tomatoes, 86 percent of critics favored the show. There is no doubt Season 2 will help deliver more ratings to ABC.

The entire cast of Season 1 will return for Season 2. The cast is being lead by Viola Davis, who will be playing the role of Amanda Weller in the new Suicide Squad movie.

"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2 premieres Thursdays this fall on ABC at 9 p.m.
