Heated Bus Stop Beach Theme in New York, Duo in Swim Suits Premiere the Bus Stop
A New York City bus stop is heating things up in these extremely cold temperatures. Waiting for a bus outside can be very uncomfortable when you are freezing, so the bus stop on Third Avenue and Lexington in Manhattan have gotten quite the makeover to make us feel a little better. Only in New York.
The yellow-beached themed heated seats on one of New York's busiest areas has been transformed by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. The advertisements shine brighter than ever when the chilly temperatures hit New York City. The shelter at the "cross-town M42 stop between Lexington and Third Avenue features heated benches and a bright yellow, beach chair-inspired design."
On the benches' opening day, two bathing suit-wearing models handed out free sunglasses and MetroCards at the bus stop. They also talked to bus customers about the advantages of a Florida vacation. We are sure people are not hard to convince at this point. After all, New Yorkers are desperately trying to get away from the cold.
The models wore only a bikini (female) and swimming trunks (male) with yellow scarfs and a winter hat. Hey, if they sacrificed their bodies in the cold, maybe we should check it out, Fort Lauderdale; it might be a good deal. Doesn't a vacation on the warm beautiful beaches of Florida sound fantastic right about now?
Thanks, Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention, but can you continue to spread this idea through NYC bus stops? We're cold! Hopefully they will get their business and we will get to keep the heated bus stop around for a little longer. This weather has really hit hard this winter, so things like this are truly exciting. If you live in New York, will you be passing by to check out the heated seats?
Summer in January... who else loves this idea?
