NBA 2K16: 3 Classic Teams Coming, Full Body Scans and More
"NBA 2K16" is already in the works and it looks like the basketball simulator will keep getting better. With a new MyCareer mode created by director Spike Lee, "NBA 2K16" will also make some other improvements.
Players will be rewarded for pre-ordering the game with in-game bonuses and also some physical gifts for ordering the Special Edition.
By pre-ordering "NBA 2K1"6, players will get to start playing the game four days early. The general release date for the game is Sept. 29, but those who pre-order the game can start playing it on Sept. 25. Pre-ordering the game will also give players some Virtual Currency (VC) bonuses and special player cards.
The Special Edition of "NBA 2K16" will feature Michael Jordan on the cover. This edition also will come with special in-game shoes, jerseys, and t-shirts from Jordan for use in the MyPlayer mode. Inside the package, players will also get a Michael Jordan poster and Fathead.
The MyCareer mode will follow a player's journey all the way from high school to the pros. There will be 90 minutes of storytelling that will include a plot, a protagonist and antagonist, according to Gotta Be Mobile.
Three classic teams are coming to "NBA 2K16." These three teams are from the recent past, so some of the players might still be in the league, but they could be on other teams or be joined with different teammates.
The 2007-2008 Boston Celtics team that featured Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo will be in the game.
The 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers team that featured Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant will be included in the game. This team won the title that year and only lost one game in the entire playoffs.
The 1999-2000 Toronto Raptors team that included Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Mugsy Bogues and Dell Curry will be the third classic team included in the game.
According to KPopStarz, players could look even more realistic thanks to full body scans. More players will start getting scanned from head-to-toe.
