'Clash of Clans' Update Features: 'The Haste Spell' Revealed [Video]
The hit mobile game "Clash of Clans" from Supercell has come out with a huge update this summer that will make the competition in the game more intense and exciting. Included in the update are new spells from the upcoming Dark Spell Factory that will improve the defense of players.
The game developers have been offering players sneak peeks of the huge update for "Clash of Clans" in a series of YouTube videos, and a clip about "Haste Spell" from the Dark Spell Factory is one of them, joining "Poison" and "Earthquake."
The poison spell can be used to make a kind of smoke that can kill troops in any base, noted COC Land. On the other hand, the earthquake spell can be used to wreak havoc in a specific area, location or base to destroy surrounding buildings, just like a real-life earthquake. It can even be used to destroy walls.
Meanwhile, the third spell, Haste, is quite similar to the Rage Spell. It can also boost the troop's speed so that the movements are quicker and faster for anyone under this spell.
Unlike the Rage Spell that can wreak damage, this third spell cannot do the same thing. However, the upside is that it is cheaper and costs lesser spell space than its Rage counterpart.
Based from the video trailer Supercell released for the Haste Spell, it will also have a smaller area of coverage compared to the Rage Spell. However, it is noticeable that the troops under this spell have a higher increase in speed. Perhaps, this was done to justify its lack of damage power.
Players who are interested to take advantage of the Dark Spells can purchase the Spell Factory from Town Hall 8.
It must be noted, though, that the massive update to "Clash of Clans," which is now live, will also affect the way spells are utilized by the players.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, those who are currently at Town Hall level 10 will be allowed to have 11 spells as opposed to the previous five limit. But as each regular spell takes up two slots, in essence, not much has changed except for the 11th slot, which players can fill up with a dark spell.
More details about the Summer Update for "Clash of Clans" can be seen through the game's official social media accounts and in the video below.
