Leaked images of the next iPhone have surfaced Wednesday and followers are getting a good idea of what it will look like.

The device, likely called the iPhone 6S, will have the exact same exterior build as the iPhone 6, TechRadar reports.

9to5Mac obtained leaked photos that showed the size of the 6S will be the same as the iPhone 6.

The strategy of keeping the same size is similar to what Apple did for the iPhone 5 and 5S and the iPhone 4 and 4S.

Case and accessory makers might be more confident that the cases created for the iPhone 6 will also fit the iPhone 6S phones.

A recent rumor suggested that the iPhone 6S could be getting a dual-lens camera for its rear-facing camera. This would be a similar setup to the HTC One M8's camera system. Having a dual-lens camera would increase the quality of pictures and allow more light to reach the camera sensor.

The dual-lens system probably is not coming to the iPhone 6S though. The leaked images obtained by 9to5Mac show that the rear shell of the iPhone 6S is exactly the same as the iPhone 6.

The holes for the camera, microphone, and LED flash look the same as they do on the iPhone 6. The headphone jack, Lightning port and mono speaker holes are also unchanged.

Although the exterior is not expected to change, the interior components in the iPhone 6S are expected to see several improvements.

A brand new processor is expected for the new iPhone. Apple will likely introduce the A9 processor to power the next iPhone. This will be the first time that the A9 is used.

For the first time in iPhone history, the iPhone 6S is expected to have 2 GB of RAM instead of just 1 GB like previous iPhones.

The camera on the iPhone 6S is expected to receive a megapixel jump from 8 megapixels (MP) to 12 MP.
