HTC One E9+ Has Everything Wanted in a Smartphone Except Metal Body
The HTC One series of smartphones offer something for everyone, but the HTC One E9+ offers a ton of great features.
With a big screen and high performance, the HTC One E9+ might be the best phone that HTC has offered, according to GSM Arena.
The HTC One M9 offers a metal body, but sticks with a FullHD 5-inch screen, while the HTC One M9+ has a Quad-HD 5.2-inch screen. The HTC One E9+ increases the size of the screen all the way up to 5.5 inches, but it loses the all metal body.
Losing the metal body might not be the worst thing for the HTC One E9+ because it makes it very thin and light for its rather large size.
Powered by a 2 GHz octa-core processor, the HTC One E9+ is very powerful. It also has 3 GB of RAM, which is plenty to help the device power through tasks and play games
The rear-facing camera on the HTC One E9+ is 20 megapixels (MP) and comes with a single-LED flash. The front-facing camera is just 4 MP but it allows for 1080p video recording.
32 GB of internal storage is offered with the HTC One E9+, but it does have a microSD slot that allows for additional storage. Additionally, customers will be given 100 GB of Google Drive storage for two years.
The speakers on the smartphone are quite impressive, using BoomSound and Dolby Audio.
Size could be a problem for some users with this phone. The HTC One E9+ is a very tall device, measuring 156.5 x 76.5 x 7.5 mm. The only other smartphone that is bigger is the iPhone 6 Plus which is 158.1 mm tall. This could make it difficult to hold for users with smaller hands.
It may be tall, but the HTC One E9+ is, at 150 g, lighter than the iPhone 6 Plus and the Asus Zenphone 2, which are around 170 g.
Overall, the HTC One E9+ is a big and powerful device with an excellent camera and screen.
