'Rick And Morty' Season 2 Trailer Released: What Mysteries Does Rick Have Hidden? [Watch]
Rick and Morty are coming back!
Coming Soon reports that the "Rick a.nd Morty" animated show will be returning Sunday, July 26 at 11:30 p.m on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. They also issued a synopsis of the upcoming season which you can check out below:
"Rick Sanchez (Justin Roiland) is still living with his daughter Beth's (Sarah Chalke) family and causing more trouble than ever. This season the rest of the family, his son-in-law Jerry (Chris Parnell), granddaughter Summer (Spencer Grammer) and grandson Morty (Roiland) are dragged into Rick's intergalactic adventures, as he faces new threats and mysteries of his secret past are revealed. Can the family survive Rick's insanity and all the chaos the universe throws at them?"
Looks like the whole family is coming along for the ride. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the family would fit in the story. By the look of the trailer, the universe needs all the help it can get.
The iDigitialTimes reports the first two episodes of the season have already been leaked online. Co-creator Justin Roiland stated that he blames President Obama for the leak. He said, "Just want to say that we have no idea who leaked these. We're bummed they got leaked," adding jokingly, "Barack 'The President' Obama leaked the episodes."
Before Season 2, "Rick and Morty" took a trip to Springfield, where they were apart of "The Simpsons" couch gag bit. You can check it out below:
"Rick and Morty" has become so popular that they had a comic book created for them. There are already six editions of the popular comic.
