Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have had incredible success during the past year. With hits like "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us," the rap duo from Seattle have rose to super stardom. This week they are getting ready to both perform and possibly win a couple of Grammys since they have been nominated under seven categories.

Music's big night will take place this Sunday. The Grammy Awards will be honoring rapper Jay-Z but the real buzz seems to be Lewis and Macklemore. "I never thought I'd be at Grammy week nominated for a Grammy Award, I definitely never thought that I would be nominated for seven of them," said Macklemore. The rap sensations are up for three major awards; Best Album, Best Song and Best New Artist.

Macklemore and Lewis will be performing at the Grammy's in the Staple Center this Sunday in L.A. "It's crazy" Lewis says. "To wrap your head around the Grammys is a hard thing to do. We're both very grateful to even be nominated or let in the building to go to the Grammys, and if we end up walking out with anything, I think it's a dream come true." Their sense of humor, creativity and simplicity has gained the group the wild amount of popularity and support from millions of fans.

So what if The Recording Academy chooses not to recognize Lewis and Macklemore? The experience and memories will be more than enough for them. "I think we're both just hitting a point where you can stop and reflect on 2013. There was an amazing number of shows and events. You couldn't have imagined it. It all just sort of happened," Lewis added. When asked what is when of their most memorable moments they mention, "Dinner with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett and their son Jaden, and then later joined by Willow -- that was pretty cool."

Good luck to this awesome duo!
