A Chilmark summer retreat home, once rented by President Barack Obama and his family, is now being offered on the market for sale.

The property, resting on the island called Martha's Vineyard, is now listed for $22.5 million, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing realtor Tom Wallace as its source.

Wallace of Wallace & Co. Sotheby's International Realty, who handles the listing, revealed that the Obamas spent their vacation in Chilmark in August 2013. The sellers were actually Obama supporters, business people David and Patricia Schulte. According to the agent, the property, which was fully-built roughly a decade ago, is now being sold by the Chicago resident owners because they have not been spending much time in the property, unlike before.

The listing on WallaceMV.com described the property as exquisitely designed by "Seattle architect Rick Sundberg, Falmouth landscape architect Steve Stimson and built by master builder Andrew Flake." It displays a home with several living spaces like a foyer, a grand dining room, a great room, a chef's kitchen equipped with custom-built cabinets and a sitting area with a fireplace.

The home also showcases an indoor-outdoor style of living. Next residents will be pleased to witness "panoramic ocean views of the South Shore and Chilmark Pond."

Interior details include skylights, large windows, limestone flooring, marble-lined baths and high-end furnishing.

Wallace stated that the luxury estate, resting on more than nine acres of Chilmark land, has four bedrooms, including a master suite that comes with a a study area, a fireplace, his and hers bathrooms, and its own deck, and a gym.

Outdoors, aside from pristine views of the surrounding, an infinity-edge pool graces the expansive grounds. Apart from the main residence, there is also a guesthouse for visitors to enjoy. The hosts and guests alike may find enjoyable activities such as swimming in the pool, a quick game in the basketball court or a fun cookout in the outdoor kitchen.
