Grammys 2014: Madonna To Perform With Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
After her ankle injury earlier this week, many fans began to doubt whether Madonna would be able to return to the stage. The chance seemed small considering she was walking with crutches, meaning the injury was rather serious.
However, a couple of hours ago the queen of pop posted a couple of photos of her walking perfectly well without the help of any crutches. To make matters even better, she added a caption that she was shopping for the perfect heels for the Grammys.
The Grammys are scheduled to happen today in the Staples Center of Los Angeles and will be hosted by none other than the hip hop legend himself, LL Cool J. Many artists are scheduled to perform at the glamorous event, including names such as Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and a host of other famous celebrities.
Despite typically not having much in the way of collaboration as far as the performances are concerned, this time there was some interest in Madonna and Macklemore together on stage, a combination that would be nothing short of amazing given the fact that the two performers belong to completely different times. There are also rumors that they might hit the studio to do a song together.
According to Ryan Lewis, who is Macklemore's producer, the song between the two will be about gay rights and same-sex marriage, which has only made anticipation of the song even higher, given the fact that many people in the United States are still having trouble accepting marriage rights for the LGBT community.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have had a very good year considering the fact that they bagged seven Grammy nominations, including one for album of the year. We are all looking forward to the collaborative performance and it looks mind-blowing.
