A 29-year-old businessman is offering a $10,000 reward for someone to find him a girlfriend.

Ren You, a Harvard M.B.A graduate, created his own website, DateRen.com, where people can fill out a form with a bio and a few pictures.

"If you introduce me to a girl and I date her for more than 6 months, I'll pay you $10,000. It's pretty simple," You writes. "I save a ton of time on finding romantic prospects and going on bad dates. You make a bunch of money for something you might have done for a friend, just for fun."

The businessman adds that his future girlfriend cannot nominate herself. "It probably goes without saying, but no one I date can claim this reward herself," he writes.

The 29-year-old man moved to Birmingham, Alabama after graduating from grad school last year. He said he "decided to try something new" after going on a lot of random dates.

None of the dates were successful. "I'm single. Let's change that," he says.

You said it's more fun to start his own website instead of sitting around at a bar after working 12 hours a day at a private equity firm.

The University of Virginia alumnus says he has about 400 potential dates in his inbox after media coverage, ABC News reports.

"Apparently it got picked up by a news outlet in China so I've gotten bombarded with a lot of mothers recommending their daughters, which is a new thing," You said. "One mom linked to her daughter's Rhodes Scholar write-up."

Before the media coverage, the young eligible bachelor had only a handful of submissions.

You is taking his time to reply to each request and might hire an intern to help him out. He has hope that he will find the right girl.
