Sony is welcoming yet another addition to its growing number of PS4 titles - EverQuest Next, PlanetSide 2 and a whole new SWG-rooted game?

According to Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley himself, EverQuest Next will be heading to the next gen game console, definitely. "We will absolutely be bringing EQN to the Playstation 4!" the SOE president answered one Reddit user in the "Ask Me Anything" session.

Although EverQuest Next has been confirmed to come to Sony's next gen game console, the awaited date still remains a mystery. Smedley has not mentioned any release date for the PS4 version of the game during the AMA session.

It's been a long time coming for EverQuest Next - with fans hoping for a PS4 launch on the title. The past year, Sony has announced that the company is focusing on EQ: N's PC version.

In a report by GameSpot, producer David Georgeson remarked, "We're very serious about this being a PC-orientated launch. Now, you're dumb not to explore other options with a business of this type, but we're very serious about developing for the PC."

At that time, inquiries of the title's PS4 version were abundant - to which Smedley responded, "We haven't announced, technically, that we're putting it on PlayStation 4, but it's fair to say that we're a Sony company so, you know, I say that with a smile on my face. I can't wait to see it on the PS4," in a report by CVG.

Smedley also revealed that PlanetSide 2 will be released roughly in the first half of the year 2014 in the Ask Me Anything session. "First half of this year is what we're shooting for. It's taking time to do this right but coming along great," he said.

Aside from EverQuest: Next and PlanetSide 2, Sony also appears to be loaded and working on another big project - this time for Star Wars: Galaxies players.

"SWG PLAYERS - OUR NEXT GAME (not announced yet) IS DEDICATED TO YOU. Once we launch it... you can come home now," he teased.
