A new smartphone with a large screen and pupil recognition software could be coming soon from LG. The LG G Pro 3 is rumored to be the next phablet style smartphone from LG, according to Tech Radar.

The LG G Pro 3 would be designed for people who prefer large screens in their smartphones. It will likely have a 6-inch screen that will display a resolution of 1440 x 2560.

It will be powerful too. The LG G Pro 3 could utilize the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and have 4 GB of RAM. The LG G Pro 3 will offer 32 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card.

A great camera will be included in the G Pro 3. The rear-facing camera will be 20.7 megapixels (MP) and the front-facing camera will be 8 MP. The camera facts come from the well-known smartphone leak Weibo account @Leaksfly. LG has taken jabs at Apple's iPhone camera for not having a wide lens and cutting off people in group pictures. The camera in the G Pro 3 will likely have a similar wide lens.

A unique feature could also make it to the G Pro 3. According to @Leaksfly, the G Pro 3 will likely get a fingerprint sensor, but it also will use pupil recognition for certain features.

The pupil recognition technology will allow users to unlock their phones by looking at the device.

The large-screened device will come with a heft price tag when it launches later this year. It is expected to cost $790 when it is released.

Originally it was thought that the LG G Pro series would be dropped to allow the company to focus on the LG G4. Mobipicker reported that LG resumed making the G Pro devices and that they will make the G Pro 3 sometime this year.

The LG G Pro 3 will be powered by Android 5.1 out of the box, but once Android M is released it will get the upgrade.
