Two new Motorola phones are expected next month. The Moto G and the Moto X are both expected to be updated and improved, according to TechRadar.

The information on these two devices comes from Chilean telecom firm Entel. Entel has leaked images of the two upcoming devices, Phone Arena reports.

The Moto X is expected to come in a rugged model called the Moto X Sport. This means it will have some water resistance and be capable of withstanding drops.

The Moto X Sport will continue to have the same 5.2-inch screen that the Moto X had. To save on battery, the Moto X Sport will likely use a Full HD display rather than a Quad-HD display. It will also feature a 1.5 GHz processor and include a 16-megapixel (MP) rear-facing camera as well as a 5 MP front-facing camera. It is unknown which brand of processor the Moto X Sport will use. The last model of the Moto X had a 13-MP camera in the rear.

The Moto X Sport will be different from the third-generation Moto X, which could be introduced in the near future. The main difference will be the rugged features of the Moto X Sport. Rumors of a fingerprint sensor appearing in both models have also surfaced, Recombu reports.

The upcoming update to the Moto G will have a 5-inch screen, just like the last model. It will utilize a 13-MP rear-facing camera and a 5-MP camera on the front. The processor is set to get an increase in speed from 1.2 GHz to 1.4 GHz.

Neither of these phones have been confirmed by Motorola yet, but rumors suggest they will be released in August.

The last Moto G was announced in September and Motorola could wait until then again this year. However, Motorola's parent company Lenovo has promised some new and exciting products this summer and a new Moto G could be one of those.
