The feature film business is a somewhat new venture for Netflix, and it is their premiere additions that will be added to their list of releases starting in October.

The streaming platform is expected to release three new features that have been highly anticipated throughout the year, which includes today's biggest names, according to Vulture.

The first one to be released on Oct. 16 will feature Idris Elba ("The Wire") and it's titled "Beasts of No Nation." This film has been directed by "True Detective" alum Cary Fukunaga and is sure to reach proportional demand with audiences for his highly acclaimed style of filmmaking.

The film is about a West African warlord (Elba) who fills the role of a mentor to a young child soldier. This topic is the subject of much controversy for the real-life roles that these people and child soldiers currently fill.

It will also get a U.S. theatrical premiere and will be a serious contender for the 2016 Academy Awards.

The next movie to premiere as a Netflix exclusive is the Adam Sandler flick "The Ridiculous Six." The film has previously made some recent headlines when the cast of Native Americans walked off the set due to highly offensive themes that were present in the film, as reported by Indian Country Today.

"The Ridiculous Six" will premiere on the streaming network on Dec. 11. This is aptly set to coincide strategically two weeks before the release of the highly anticipated Quentin Tarantino film "The Hateful Eight," hoping to draw some of the hype over to the Sandler film.

Finally, fans will get an official sequel to "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" in the first quarter of 2016. This film was originally slated for an August 2015 release, but got pushed back to 2016 for undisclosed reasons.

Netflix will also be giving this film a simultaneous release on Imax screens in America and standard theatrical formats in China.

Lastly, the Judd Apatow comedy reboot film of the "Pee-wee" cinematic universe will be released in March of next year.

Netflix has also announced that they have reached a deal with Adam Sandler for three more films, but have not disclosed any details about them nor their potential release dates.
