Fans of "The Originals" will have a lot to look forward to when the series returns to The CW this fall, including the addition of three new characters according to reports.

Along with fan favorites like Klaus, Elijah and Cami, viewers can expect to see several new faces in Season 3. According to TVLine, the drama series will introduce a vampire named Aurora, who is described as "sexy" and very unpredictable. Plus, this seductive vamp can become very deadly in a split second. There is also the possibility that she will grab Klaus' attention and become his new woman of the week while he continues to ignore his feelings for Cami.

Another vampire named Lucien will also make a debut on the show. Not only will he be "good-looking," but he also has a history with the Mikaelsons.

The last character that has been teased is a detective named Will Kinney, who is described as a "handsome lawman determined to bring wrongdoers to justice." However, as a human, he will have no knowledge of the vampire underworld.

During an interview with TVLine last month, actor Daniel Gillies admitted that he hopes to see "crazy werewolf sex" between his character, Elijah, and Hayley next season. Gillies also went on to say that he hopes Elijah will become less subservient towards his crazy brother, Klaus.

"I think his natural allegiance is turning more towards Hayley," Gillies said of Elijah at The CW upfront. "I would hope to see Elijah be less of a butler to his schizophrenic brother and more of his own force ... in Season 3."

According to WetPaint, the vampire drama has received an order for 22 more episodes. That means viewers will get to indulge in a 22-episode narrative that is bound to be filled with scandal, conflict and passion from the Mikaelson clan.
