Transgender model and actress Mia Isabella, also known as Michelle Levelle, has found herself in the midst of rumors that she and Tyga are having, or had, a torrid love affair while the rapper has been dating Kylie Jenner.

E! News reports that Isabella has released the following statement:

"It's very sad that the idea of a man loving a trans person has to be considered a scandal when all people are equal -- love always wins doesn't it? I live in a world in my mind where everything is a fairy tale of love. Saddening to see small-minded thoughts travel so quickly like wildfire not knowing if it's true or not. It's like waves crashing over me -- washing over me -- to see masses of humanity rise with pitch forks blindly following."

She continued, "Are we not all equal? Am I not an American with the right to love and live as I choose with whoever I choose? If a celebrated man loves a transgender woman or possibly did that's news? It shouldn't be news it should be normal for anyone and everyone to be allowed to love who they choose."

Isabella's statement does not deny or confirm the alleged love affair, and Tyga's only comment about the rumor was on a Tuesday Instagram post of himself on stage with the caption, "My focus is always on the positive and building up those around me. I'll never understand why people choose hate and negativity over anything else."

Meanwhile, Tyga's lawyer, Lee Hutton, told E! News that he believes the "Ride Out" rapper is the victim of a plot to "maliciously shame" him.

"The allegations are false and socially irresponsible during a time when many Americans are celebrating equality," Hutton said.

The young rapper made headlines on Tuesday after screenshots of alleged conversations between him and another woman were leaked to the website LoveBScott, and those conversation included pictures of his penis.

LoveBScott reports that they received numerous emails from an "anonymous" source claiming that Tyga has been seeing Isabella for nearly three years -- while he was with Blac Chyna and, now, Jenner.

While there's always reasonable doubt, the texts included some face photos of the rapper, and the D-pics seemingly confirm that it's Tyga because of his tattoos.

The 25-year-old rapper addressed the scandal on Tuesday with a Twitter post that reads, "Smh. The devil is working hard today. Lol."
