Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Cash Strapped, Move Out of California Mansion
Tori Spelling and her cash-strapped family have downsized from their Encino, California mansion of the last year to what's presumed to be smaller digs.
The Daily Mail reports Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott were recently spotted packing their possessions in a rented truck and the back of their cars before heading off.
Back in October, the 42-year-old actress publicly acknowledged on her Lifetime reality show "True Tori" that the family was having trouble staying afloat financially.
"We live paycheck to paycheck," she said back then. "After this (True Tori) I have no f***ing idea if work's going to come in. Like, how am I going to support my family in six months?"
Spelling also lamented how the family was struggling to pay private school tuition for all four of their children, prompting her husband to suggest they should start to look for ways to cut back on costs any way they could.
"But why should we," barked Spelling. "My dad wouldn't have wanted this. He'd be so mad. He worked so friggin' hard so his kids wouldn't have to f***ing struggle. I don't want to change our lifestyle. That's why I work so hard. I don't want to change."
Tori's father, Aaron Spelling, produced such long-running TV hits as "The Love Boat," "Charlie's Angels," and "Beverly Hills, 90210," in which Tori also starred in. When he passed away in 2006, his estimated worth was reported to be in the neighborhood of $600 million.
Still, several media outlets have reported Spelling and McDermott are rumored to want more children.
"They love their four children and believe a new baby will bring them closer together," said a said. "Sometimes it seems their love of kids is the one thing they have in common."
