Will Smith Jada Pinkett Divorce Update: Couple Already Selling Family Home for $42M? Split Inevitable?

Celebrity power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has been under the media's watchful eye with tales of divorce and infidelity. As if those weren't enough to put a big question mark on the stability of their marriage, another rumor emerged about the two selling their family home for $42 million.

The buzz about their home hitting the market first circulated in September of last year. Huffington Post reported that their 25,000 square foot mansion in Calabasas, California that took seven years to build features a recording studio, a free-form pool, a meditation room, and a private terrace off the master bathroom.

A representative of the family spoke to the press and confirmed that the Smith mansion was not for sale.

But months after the initial report, the rumor has risen from the dead and is haunting Will and Jada once again, according to an article on ThyBlackMan.com. Perhaps it has something to do with the two selling their vacation home in Hawaii.

As the couple try to fend off the divorce rumors, some people are starting to think that their decision to sell their homes is a way for them to reduce their property assets in an effort to smoothen the legalities of an impending divorce.

Or, through a simpler and more positive perspective, maybe the Smiths are selling properties mainly because they're not using them anymore.

Either way, Jada is maintaining a firm stance on the whole issue. In an interview, she said, "Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it's us! These rumors are completely untrue."

She also revealed in an article on Eurweb that if ever she and Will do decide to get a divorce, it will be because of one particular reason. Here's a hint: it has nothing to do with Will flirting with his co-star or a Victoria's Secret Angel.

"What is the one thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can't think of one," Jada said, "except if he did something bad to the kids - now we've got a problem."
