Bill Cosby's longtime wife Camille admits she is well aware of her husband's cheating ways but doesn't believe the famed comedian is a rapist.

The New York Post reports Camille Cosby insists all the women now accusing him of having drugged and sexually assaulted them over the last five decades "consented to drugs and sex" with her husband.

Camille Cosby's public comments come just days after news broke that the former "Cosby Show" star once admitted under oath in a deposition that he regularly supplied women with Quaaludes prior to having sex with them.

"Camille still doesn't believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent," said a source employed by the Cosby family. "She's well aware of his cheating, but she doesn't believe that her husband is a rapist."

The 71-year-old Camille Cosby is described as her husband's business manager, "a proud, dignified but stubborn woman," who now sees the attacks against him as "an affront to her and all that she's done to make him a star."

Reports are during a crisis meeting last week with advisers she demanded that their high-priced team of lawyers and specialists get back out in front of the wave of negative news being aired about him.

"I created him, I knew what I was getting and we'll fix this," Camille Cosby said, according to a source. "They are making him out to be such a bad guy, a monster."

Meanwhile, prosecutors in Los Angeles and Las Vegas are rumored to be preparing to take a closer look at crimes allegedly involving Cosby that may have happened in their jurisdiction. CNN reports Cosby once had as many as seven prescriptions for Quaaludes.

Camille Cosby is said to have "stopped being embarrassed long ago" by her husband's affairs. She once described the alleged infidelities as "personal, between Bill and I."

In addition, she shared her motto with a family friend, confiding, "You have to allow for space to let your partner do what he wants. I have done that and [Bill] has done that and there's no jealously, no friction."
